Don’t I Wish I had This Eight Years Ago….
Sep 01Let’s face it. The world has changed. Big time. There’s sexting, surfing (not on waves), sampling (not on waves), meowing (not for cats), planking, owning, and all sorts of things you have never heard of and probably don’t want your kids doing. And even the things we thought our kids SHOULD do now come with all sorts of risks, problems and new protocols.
Hence, the Modern Girls Guide to Decent Daughters. Is it better for your daughter to wax or shave? And at what age can she start? Would you rather she color her hair pink or get highlights? Should you read her texts? Or does she deserve the right to privacy?
I don’t promise I have all of the answers, but I promise I will go out and find them. And I promise I’m not afraid to ask the tough questions.
It’s hard to raise a daughter. Let alone a decent daughter. But we’ll have a better chance, and a lot more fun, doing it together. See you tomorrow.
