Hi, I’m Jane. First and foremost I’m the mother of not just a daughter but a delightful son, who is 10. So I imagine sometimes I’ll be delving into his troubles and traumas too…And this isn’t my first foray into writing. I’ve actually written a few guides before, The Modern Girl’s Guide to Life, The Modern Girl’s Guide to Motherhood and The Modern Girls Guide to Sticky Situations. Basically, I’m all about helping a girlfriend out, and finding out the tips and tricks that I wish I knew. I certainly don’t have all the answers, I’ve just gotten pretty good at finding the places to get the best info.

I also happen to run a trend forecasting company. This is my second one. It’s called Trendera. It’s based in LA and NY and we do research and consulting for amazing companies like Target, NBC, Teen Vogue, CW, Fox, and many others. When I’m lucky, I get to go on Good Morning America, and The View or Extra and I’m also a contributing editor for Cosmopolitan Magazine. I have a great husband, two kids, two hyperactive dogs, and barely hold it all together most days. I would love your feedback and any questions you have.
